    Seven Queensland screen businesses to share in $3 million investment for sustainable growth

    Screen Queensland has today announced the seven recipients of the $3 million, three-year Business Enterprise fund. 

    The local screen businesses will each receive between $100,000 and $150,000 per year to support the sustainable growth of the Queensland screen sector by fostering innovation and building capacity to create Intellectual Property.

    Goalpost Pictures’ Kylie Munnich will serve as a Screen Producers Australia councillor for 2023/24, while Greg Woods, Kevin Whyte, Kurt Royan, Mitchell Stanley, and Steph Dower have been appointed as advisors, following the organisation’s annual general meeting.

    Hoodlum Entertainment’s Tracey Vieira again leads the council as president alongside vice president Suzanne Ryan from SLR Productions, while Nathan Anderson, Greg Basser, Aaron Fa’aoso, Michael Fardell, Scott Howard, Leah Purcell, Bain Stewart, and Matthew Vitins have concluded their terms.

    Screen Australia has announced the 12 participants in the Access Coordinator Training program, delivered by UK inclusion consultancy Bridge06 in partnership with the New Zealand Film Commission (NZFC), Screen Canberra, Screen NSW, Screen Queensland, Screen Tasmania, Screen Territory, Screenwest, the South Australian Film Corporation (SAFC), VicScreen and the Australian Film Television Radio School (AFTRS).
